Electric surfboard and eFoil demos for San Antonio
Divine Voltage is the authorized Awake dealer closest to San Antonio. We are in New Braunfels, about forty minutes up I-35, and we run on-water demo sessions on the lakes San Antonio riders already use.
You do not need a boat, a trailer, or a lake house. We bring charged boards, vests, and coaching to the water and you ride.
Where San Antonio riders launch
Canyon Lake is the best water within reach of the city and the one we recommend first. Deep, clear, and glassy early. Roughly an hour from downtown San Antonio. See our Canyon Lake demo page.
Medina Lake works well when levels are up and is the closest real option for riders on the north and west sides.
Calaveras Lake and Braunig Lake are the south side answer. Warm year round, close to Loop 410, and rarely crowded on a weekday morning.
Your private dock or ranch tank. If you have water, that is almost always the better session. Fewer boats, faster in and out, and nobody watching your first attempt.
Why an electric board makes sense here
- No ramp line. Summer weekends at Canyon and Medina stop being a logistics problem. You carry the board in from the shore.
- No trailer, no slip. It fits in an SUV and charges off a garage outlet. No fuel dock, no winterizing, no ethanol issues.
- One person can go ride. No driver, no spotter, no crew to coordinate. Leave the house at 6 a.m. alone if you want.
- Silent and wakeless. You can ride past docks and coves without being the boat everyone hears.
What you will ride
Awake RAVIK — electric jetboard. Planes across the surface at up to 35 mph. Most riders are standing inside twenty minutes. This is the right board for busy Texas lake water.
Awake VINGA — eFoil. Rises onto a hydrofoil and flies above the surface. Steeper learning curve, and nothing else feels like it once it clicks.
Wave-Vo — electric watercraft, available in Texas through Divine Voltage.
Ride both in one session. Most people arrive expecting to prefer one and leave preferring the other.
Service and support after the sale
We are a certified Awake service center. San Antonio owners do not ship boards out of state for service or battery work — you drive forty minutes and drop it off. That matters more in year two than it does the day you buy.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to come to New Braunfels?
No. We meet you at the water. Tell us which lake or dock works and we bring the equipment.
How far is the drive from San Antonio?
Canyon Lake is about an hour from downtown. Calaveras and Braunig are inside twenty five minutes from the south side.
Can a complete beginner do this?
Yes. Most riders go from belly to knees to standing in the first session, coached the whole way.
What time is best?
Morning. First light through about 10 a.m. is glass, and calm water makes a first ride dramatically easier, especially on an eFoil.
How long is a session?
Plan for about an hour on the water plus a short shore briefing.
Do you sell electric dirt bikes too?
Yes, and we deliver in the San Antonio area. See electric dirt bikes.
