Fleet Programs for Resorts, Marinas and Clubs

Put electric boards on your water

This page is for the person who has to justify the line item: resort and marina general managers, club boards, ranch and lake-house property managers, short-term rental operators, and event venues.

The pitch is simple. An Awake electric surfboard is the amenity guests photograph, post, and tell people about — and unlike a boat program, it needs no captain, no crew, no fuel account, and no slip.

What a placement includes

  • Equipment. Awake RÄVIK jetboards, VINGA eFoils, batteries, chargers and safety gear, specified to your water and your guest profile.
  • Staff training. We train your people to launch, coach, rotate riders, and shut a session down safely. Certified by the people who service the equipment.
  • Rider onboarding. A repeatable first-ride process that gets a guest standing inside twenty minutes without a two-hour lesson.
  • Service coverage. We are the certified Awake service center for Texas. A board that goes down is down for days, not for the season.
  • Seasonal support. Pre-season commissioning, in-season checks, off-season storage prep and battery conditioning.
  • Cross-promotion. Your property in our content, our riders pointed at your property.

The operating economics

These are illustrative figures, not a promise. Real numbers depend on your season length, guest volume, staffing model and pricing. We will build the version with your inputs before you commit to anything.

As a starting frame: a guided session at our own retail rate runs $200. A property charging in that range, running three sessions a day, three days a week, across a 30-week Texas season, is looking at roughly 270 sessions. At $200 that is $54,000 of gross session revenue per board before staffing costs.

Run the same math at your own numbers. The variables that actually move it:

  • Season length. Central Texas realistically runs eight to ten months. Coastal runs longer. North Texas runs shorter.
  • Sessions per operating day. Battery swap time is the constraint, not rider appetite. Spare batteries raise your ceiling directly.
  • Staffing model. Guided sessions bill higher and require a trained employee. Supervised free-ride for qualified guests bills lower and scales.
  • Attachment. Placements consistently produce retail interest. Guests who ride ask where to buy one.

What it costs you not to do it

A boat program means a captain, insurance, fuel, a slip, winterizing, and a mechanic two hours away. An electric board program means a garage outlet and a trained staffer.

The comparison that matters is not board versus nothing. It is board versus the amenity spend you are already making that nobody photographs.

Models we work under

Venue placement. We supply equipment and staff; you supply water, traffic and facilities. You take a commission on sales made at your location. No capital outlay from you.

Property-owned fleet. You buy the equipment, we handle specification, training, service and seasonal support. Highest margin to you, and you own the asset.

Event and activation. Single weekend or season-opening activation. Useful if you want to test guest response before committing.

We already run versions of the first model with venues across Central Texas.

Why the service center matters more than the discount

Any dealer can sell you boards. The question that decides whether a fleet program survives its second season is what happens when a board fails in July.

If your equipment has to be crated and shipped overseas for warranty work, the board is out for the season and your amenity is a story about a broken thing in a shed. We are certified to do that work in Texas. That is the whole argument.

What we need from you to build a proposal

  1. Your water — lake, bay, or river, and what the launch looks like.
  2. Guest volume and season, roughly.
  3. Whether you want staff-guided sessions, supervised free-ride, or both.
  4. Whether you want to own the fleet or host a placement.

Give us those four and we will come back with equipment specification, a staffing model, and the economics run at your numbers.
