Water karting guide

Water karting: go-kart racing, on water.

Water karting is head-to-head racing in small electric jet boats around a floating buoy course. The boats are called water karts, water go-karts or mini jet boats. You sit low, steer with a wheel, and race a pack of friends through tight turns on a lake, pond or lagoon. It feels like a go-kart track, with spray.

What is a water kart?

A water kart is a single-rider electric jet boat built for a race course. The one we race and sell is the Wave-Vo: a carbon fiber hull, a 15 kW electric jet drive, a 31 mph top speed, and 165 lbs, light enough for two people to carry. There's no propeller, no gas and no exhaust, so it's safe for riders in the water and allowed on lakes where gas engines aren't.
